Carl D. Hamilton*
Carl was a founding member/partner of the firm in 1985. Carl received a juris doctorate degree in 1966 from the University of Idaho School of Law. He had a very successful and distinguished practice predominantly in the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning and probate until he retired in 2011. Carl still provides the firm with administrative support and invaluable mentoring for the newer attorneys of the firm. Carl has also always been actively involved in the community and in service and charitable organization. Terry Michaelson
Terry was also a founding member/partner of the firm. Terry received a juris doctorate degree from Arizona State University School of Law in 1976. He is presently the senior partner of the firm. Terry has over thirty years of litigation experience. Presently his primary areas of practice are divorce, child custody, adoption, real estate, general corporation representation, collections, insurance law, personal injury, and general litigation. Like Carl, Terry has led the members of the firm by example as far as community involvement, leadership and service. Terry's community involvement includes the following, among others: Third District Bar Association (Member, Past President); Canyon County Lawyers Club (Member, Past President); NNU Crusader Athletic Association (Member, Past President); World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame (Secretary, Board of Directors); Nampa First Church of the Nazarene (Board of Directors); Northwest Christian Credit Union (Board of Directors); Idaho State Bar Pro Bono Committee (Member).
Mark Hilty
Mark joined the firm after receiving a juris doctorate degree from Willamette University School of Law in 1995. He quickly excelled in his law practice and became partner of the firm in 2000. His primary areas of practice include municipal law, real estate transactions, real estate development, land use, planning and zoning law, real estate litigation and commercial litigation. His community involvement includes the following, among others: Canyon County Lawyers Club (Member, Secretary/Treasurer); Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center (Board of Directors); Treasure Valley Chapter, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (Past Committee Member); International Municipal Lawyers Association (Member); Idaho Municipal Attorney Association (Member).
Ron R. Shepherd
Ron graduated from the University of Idaho School of Law in 2002 with a juris doctorate degree and immediately joined the firm. He began in the Caldwell City Prosecutor's Office and move into the Nampa office in 2005 when he began his civil litigation practice. In 2008 Ron accepted an offer from the firm to become partner. Ron primarily practices in the areas of construction litigation, creditor rights and collections, consumer protection law, commercial transactions, real estate transactions, real estate litigation, eminent domain, medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, asbestos litigation, and bankruptcy litigation. Ron's community involvement includes the following, among other things: Third District Bar Association (Member); Meridian Optimist Club (Member); Idaho Elite Basketball Club Coach; Youth Sports Coach for Football, Basketball, Baseball and Wrestling; Nampa Police Activities League (Former Board of Directors); Latah County Republican Party (Former Secretary).
Aaron Seable
Aaron earned a juris doctorate degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2005. He joined the firm in 2006 after gaining valuable experience as a judicial clerk. Aaron is the newest partner of the firm, having been made a partner in 2012. Aaron primarily practices in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, Business Formations, Business Transactions and Succession Planning, Real Estate Transactions and Municipal Law.
